Is This a mere Coincidence?

I am a proud Jewish American. My mother’s grandparents came here and settled in New York City in the final year of the 19th Century. My grandmother was born a year later. The first of 5 children. All born in the USA, thus regardless of the limited knowledge of current occupant of the White House , per the 14th Amendment to our Constitutions they were all citizens of the United States .(“We're looking at that very seriously — birthright citizenship, where you have a baby on our land. You walk over the border, have a baby. Congratulations, the baby is now a U.S. citizen . . . It's frankly ridiculous ." Donald Trump) , regardless of the immigrant status of my great grandparents.

I am a Democrat. My father who passed away in 2008 was a Democrat, he voted for all Democrat Presidential Candidates from Harry S. Truman in 1948 through John Kerry in 2004. My mother who also proudly votes Democrat has done so since Adlai S. Stevenson 1952 and will no doubt do so again at age 91 in 2020. I too have never missed any elections, since I first voted for Jimmy Carter’s In 1976. I too have always voted democrat. I see nothing in my Jewish heritage that will cause me to regret voting Democrat once again.

Although the three of us have always voted for the Democrats, we are hardly sycophantic. I enjoy an Intelligent debate with those who disagree with me. I don’t find the Democratic Party perfect. I feel that we have an unwritten obligation to our neighbors to help. The present day Republicans party is without compassion, empathy or feeling for the citizens of his country and blind hatred for anybody who is not as citizen. This is not how I believe our country should be.

Somebody may read the above paragraph and call me a Socialist. I have no idea what that means in its present day vernacular. I define “socialism” as “a political belief with which contains policies that Sean Hannity disagree with.

The President often speaks of "Making America Great Again.” However, I am concerned about his concept of greatness. I contend that we have yet to achieve greatness. Ergo, because of this President’s lack of knowledge, curiosity and respect for history he is romanticizing about and willing to settle for an imperfect time.

When does he believe that we were great? Were we great at a time when we condoned, kidnapped and enslaved of a free and innocent race? Were we great after allegedly returning the freedom to these people, citizens of our nation continued to discriminate, segregate, indiscriminately beat and lynched, while a government stood by silently and watched? Were we great we allowed an alcoholic Senator to terrorize people on the basis of their choice of friends? Were we great when we allowed well over 1,000,000 people to be killed in a war, which we escalated by our leaders whom knew that our involvement in the war was by virtue of false pretenses? Were we great when we again entered a foreign land, claiming that they had attacked us, but knowing all along that that was a canard.

We certainly did not show any form of greatness when we used the military to quell a peaceful protest, while our leader hid min a bunker. Mr Trump that combination puts you in a select group of leaders who have both used chemicals against their own citizen and hid in a bunker. The others that come to mind with that combination, were Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler.

Facebook recently removed Trump Ads , that featured an upside red triangle, Trump Campaign official claim that this is used by "Antifa" Nobody from "Antifa" is saying anything. Why is that , I wonder. Because there is no organized "Antifa". it is a philosophy not a group. There are many small disorganized group that refer to themselves as "Antifa," But US Intelligence says that there is no indication that they have anything to do with recent violence. Why was this symbol removed because this symbol was used by Nazis to designate political prisoners, communists and others in concentration camps

This president has no respect for history. He has mapped out the route to return us to this fictional time of greatness passes directly through Germany in 1932. The items listed before may only be coincidental, but either coincidental or purposeful if I, as. A Jew, were planning to vote from Donald Trump I would think twice.

1) Both Adolph Hitler and Donald Trump found a direct route to their base. Hitler via giveaway radios that only transmitted one station. These single frequency radio exclusively played Hitler’s scapegoating rants blaming Jews for Germany’s woes. President Trump delivers his self-serving often fictional messages via Twitter. He has replaced the Jewish with the Mexicans. There is no evidence that the Mexicans crossing the border are ay more dangerous than any other group including those white Americans which make up a large portion of the President's base;

2) Both Adolph Hitler and President Trump despise their opponents. Hitler would refer to his political opponents as cockroaches, parasites, criminals, etc… President Trump leads the rally to jail Hillary Clinton,. Accuses Ted Cruz’s father of killing President Kennedy and retweets an unsubstantiated conspiracy accusing the Clintons of murder;

3) Hitler would refer to the press as Lügenpresse (lying press). Quite similar to President Trump's habit of referring to any newspaper, television or cable news report that contains any critical comments about him as ”fake news;”

4) Both relentlessly disrespect the mainstream media, regardless of the facts. President Trump has lead the chant ”CNN Sucks, ” and the “failing New York Times.” at the same time supporting the questionable veracity of Sean Hannity and the Epoch Times;

5) Both reject statements and conclusions of academics and scientific experts while accepting the unsubstantiated conspiracy theories created by right-wing zealots;

6) Both organize rallies to celebrate their fictional accomplishments;

7) Hitler's goal was to ”restore Germany’s greatness, ” President Trump longs to ”make America great again;”

8) Both want the borders closed. Hitler barred Jews, Trump tried to bar Muslims and people from south of the Rio Grande;

9) Both embraced industrial leaders while at the same time despising labor unions;

10) Both embraced isolationism. ”Hitler’s foreign policy rejected international cooperation in favor of military and economic coercion, culminating in the annexation of the Sudetenland, the phony Hitler-Stalin nonaggression pact, the invasion of Czechoslovakia, and the horrors of global war; ”

11) Both employed a policy of removing children from their parents;

12) Both embraced mass deportation and detention;

13) Both questioned and attacked the voting process. Hitler purged the voting rolls and questioned the ability of the democratic process to cure Germany’s problems. Trump supported ted purging of the voting roles and refused to say if he would accept the ultimate results;

14) Both often attack the judiciary;

15) Both surrounded themselves with military advisors and assistants;

16) Both valued loyalty oaths;

17) Both wanted unchecked power. “In 1933, Hitler used the pretext of the Reichstag fire to declare a national emergency and seize the power to govern unilaterally. The German judiciary did nothing to stop him. German democracy never recovered .” When Congress refused to fund the order was Trump declared a phony national emergency and claimed the power to ignore Congress;

18) Both were/are misogynistic.

19) On Oct. 13, 2016, Donald J. Trump, said his Hillary Clinton, “meets in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers.”

In The New York Times, Jonathan Martin said Mr. Trump veered “dangerously close to the territory of ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.’ ”

20) Donald Trump appears to take aspects of his German background seriously. John Walter works for the Trump Organization, and when he visits Donald in his office, Ivana told a friend, he clicks his heels and says, “Heil Hitler,” possibly as a family joke.

21) Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed. Kennedy now guards a copy of My New Order in a closet at his office, as if it were a grenade. Hitler’s speeches, from his earliest days up through the Phony War of 1939, reveal his extraordinary ability as a master propagandist.
The President may question my loyalty to those of my religion. I would too, if I voted for him.

Are You Folks Blind?

Ok you few trumpalopogisses left- how do you justify voting for a man who has turned his back on his own military, gassed citizens in peaceful and lawful protest for a photo op. Clearly sought help from foreign nations to investigate an opponent all the time his daughter was doing the same but 1`0X more than te opponents sun. who has call Nazis "good people." has denied client change. During a pandemic wasted time that have cost 60,000 lives, and then in opposition to those who know purposely put people at risk . Who has refused to talk the many member s of the press while basically anointing Fox news as State Television. Has insulted and demeaned other reporters because the question stumped him. Has mocked the handicapped. has disrespected the military/. Has made bigoted comments and stupid comments. ARE YOU FOLKS BLIND?????

Does The Constitution protect the President's "Right to Lie ?

n a joint press conference this morning, President Trump and Attorney General Barr announced that a Special Prosecutor has been named by the Attorney General to investigate and prosecute Twitter for their in denying The President and others, in one of the most fundamental right man has. “The right to Lie.” When pointed out that the “Right to Lie” does not appear in the Constitution, Mr. Barr quickly pointed out that rights are “as fundamental as the right to breath.” And has been inferred in the Fifth, Fourteenth and Twenty-Eighth Amendment to the Constitution.
“From the first that a child can talk, with a full face of chocolate, he will blame the same dog who will soon eat his homework. for devouring the fudge cake. Do you your son to actually read “The Prophet.” Because that is what he will have to do when he no longer can cheat off his friends. Does a wife want to hear where he husband actually been?
Actor. comedian, Jon Lovitz was introduced as the Special Prosecutor. Mr. Lovech’s resume was very impressive. As a young lawyer he was second seat next to Clarence Darrow, in full costume as a ape in the Monkey Trial. Most recently it was he, who drove OJ’s white Bronco.
Mr. Barr did acknowledge that Mr. Lovech was not the first choice. His first choice was President Trump. We have learned that Mr. Trump considered taking the position, but backed out at the last minute because of the lack of benefits that went along with the job .

Black Lives Matter

Why is the “ all lives matter“ slogan so inappropriate?

Because There’s never been a time when anybody has questioned whether the white lives matter. So why make a big thing of it now?.The day that they start to profile bald Jewish sexagenarians, I’ve got to worry.

Honestly white man in United States are the most over privileged people in the world. Think about it what about do white males protest? They carry guns to the foot of the Michigan State house, protesting the fact that were required to wear a mask. what do African Americans protest? That they want to live!

My conclusion , it’s time for the white man to stand up for the African-Americans it’s also time most white men to wear masks .We are not very good looking!

George Washington Letter to the Jewish Congregation of New Port Rhode Island

“For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.“

George Washington , August 18, 1790. In a letter to the Jewish Congregation of Newport, Rhode Island.

What happened? Washington clearly had the right idea, but maybe somebody who practiced it should’ve said it. There is a major problem I have with “make America great again.“ When were we great? Was it that we were great at hypocrisy?

Washington’s words were magnificent. How Washington, who owned slaves until the day he died, could written those words “gives to bigotry no sanction“ is perplexing . Maybe I shouldn’t be Perplexed .

Let’s face it, we are built on hypocrisy. The North claimed to be abolitionists, but profited from slave trade. (Remember “molasses to slaves to rum” from the play 1776.). The south wanted “ their Negroes” Counted in the census, but not vote, only to give them more electoral votes (The great 3/5 compromise ).

Like most hypocrisies, Eventually come back to haunt you. It gets to the point that the so called “good” people must acknowledge the hypocrisies , while the “bad” folks take advantage of them flagrantly.

Where it goes from here, your guess is as good as mine.

George Washington’s 1790 Letter To Touro Synagogue
During a visit to Newport, R.I., in 1790, a year before the Bill of Rights was ratifie d, President George
Washington received a letter from Moses Seixas, warden of the Touro Synagogue, seeking assurance of
religious freedom for Jews.
President Washington gave an unequivocal guarantee, returning a letter stating that the new government
would “give to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.”
Below is the transcript of each letter. Original spelling, punctuation and capitalization have been retained.
The letter from Moses Seixas to President George Washington
To the President of the United States of America.
Permit the children of the stock of Abraham to approach you with the most cordial affection and esteem for
your person and merits ~~ and to join with our fellow citizens in welcoming you to NewPort.
With pleasure we reflect on those days ~~ those days of difficulty, and danger, when the God of Israel,
who delivered David from the peril of the sword, ~~ shielded Your head in the day of battle: ~~ and we
rejoice to think, that the same Spirit, who rested in the Bosom of the greatly beloved Daniel enabling him
to preside over the Provinces of the Babylonish Empire, rests and ever will rest, u pon you, enabling you to
discharge the arduous duties of Chief Magistrate in these States.
Deprived as we heretofore have been of the invaluable rights of free Citizens, we now with a deep sense of
gratitude to the Almighty disposer of all events behold a Government, erected by the Majesty of the People
~~ a Government, which to bigotry gives no sanction, to persecution no assistance ~~ but generously affording to all Liberty of conscience, and immunities of Citizenship: ~~ deeming every one, of whatever Na
tion, tongue, or language equal parts of the great governmental Machine: ~~ This so ample and extensive
Federal Union whose basis is Philanthropy, Mutual confidence and Public Virtue, we cannot but acknowledge to be the work of the Great God, who ruleth in the Armies of Heaven, and among the Inhabitants of
the Earth, doing whatever seemeth him good.
For all these Blessings of civil and religious liberty which we enjoy under an equal benign administration,
we desire to send up our thanks to the Ancient of Days, the great preserver of Men ~~beseeching him, that
the Angel who conducted our forefathers through the wilderness into the promised Land, may graciously
conduct you through all the difficulties and dangers of this mortal life: ~~ And, when, like Joshua full of
days and full of honour, you are gathered to your Fathers, may you be admitted into the Heavenly Paradise
to partake of the water of life, and the tree of immortality.
Done and Signed by order of the Hebrew Congregation in NewPort, Rhode Island August 17th 1790.
Moses Seixas, Warden
To the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island.
Americans United for Separation of Church and State
While I receive, with much satisfaction, your Address replete with expressions of affection and esteem; I
rejoice in the opportunity of assuring you, that I shall always retain a grateful remembrance of the cordial
welcome I experienced in my visit to Newport, from all classes of Citizens.
consciousness that they are succeeded by days of uncommon prosperity and security. If we have wisdom
to make the best use of the advantages with which we are now favored, we cannot fail, under the just
administration of a good Government, to become a great and happy people.
The Citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to
mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy: a policy worthy of imitation. All possess alike liberty
of conscience and immunities of citizenship. It is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by
the indulgence of one class of people, that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights.
For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no
assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens,
in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.
It would be inconsistent with the frankness of my character not to avow that I am pleased with your favorable opinion of my Administration, and fervent wishes for my felicity. May the children of the Stock of
Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while
May the father of all mercies scatter light and not darkness in our paths, and make us all in our several
vocations useful here, and in his own due time and way everlastingly happy.
G. Washington
