Who's On First?

I've mellowed out the last few days. Why? I think that I rediscovered Baseball.

I clearly like writing. I've been dry lately on the parodies and the satires. The politics was getting me angry.

I found this community called Baseball. I wrote an essay about ballparks and ballgames. people discussed their memories. I asked the question What was the greatest game. People calmly spoke. I posted my all Star team over the last 50 years, people debated.

The worst think that I was called was a Yankee fan.

I saw a classic ending yesterday, played in the sun the way it was meant to be played.

New York City has scheduled a parade down Sixth Avenue of all the living Hall of Famers to coincide with the All Star Break. I don't normally go to parades, but to see Mays, Aaron, Koufax, Brooks and Frank Robinson, Kaline, Musial, Feller, Yogi and Whitey, I'll be there.

I bet they hold Red Sox fans in similarly high esteem over there.

There were mostly Sox fans! Are you going to the parade? I think that there is a living Red Sox player in the hall.

I may have to boycott because they refuse to let Jim Rice in. And with John Henry Williams passing on, nobody there will be able to carry Ted's frozen head.

Rice belongs.

This is NY. The only thing that will be frozen is a Daiquiri out of respect for Mantle & Ford.
