The Triple Crown from Hell!

So I figured that I would try, for the third time, to rent a Post Office Box this morning.

This time I had the proper Identification with me. I was ready to go. I get there at 7:00 A.M. When called to the window, I should have connected the dots. His name was Postal Employee I.M.A. Moron.

Mr. Moron took my I.D. Went into the back to have it approved and came out without it. I immediately noticed the omission. Mr. Moron did not. For three hours he, his supervisors and his managers said "we are sorry, we'll find it." I had my license for 32 years and never lost it. he had it for 3 minutes and lost it. What efficiency.

Did I mention the management, Peter Principle and I.M. Nothere. Peter Principle came out to apologize. Later I was told he wasn't there and wouldn't be there until noon. I said that "I just spoke with Mr. Principle." I was told, "He's the manager not the supervisor."
"Can I see the manager." "He's not here."

The second leg of the triple crown came when I had to report this incident. Did you know that in order to limit the identity theft and to get a new license a lost or stolen license has to be reported to the Police. So after moving my car, I walked to the Police Department. They were incredulous. They asked the same question asked by my wife, my mother, everybody in my office, the employee at Motor Vehicle and the homeless man on the corner, "How could they lose it?"

The third leg came on my way to the office. I now have to replace my license. Off to the Black hole of Civil Service the Department of Motor Vehicles. They give out numbers like a bakery at the DMV. I had number 320. They were up to number 4. Actually when I finally saw someone at DMV and after she asked the mandatory question, she was very helpful.

What a day!

I thought this kind of stuff only happened to me.
